Karolina Szczepańska-Leśniewska
EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
A graduate of the Faculty of Law at the Jagiellonian University. She has repeatedly received a scholarship from the Rector of the Jagiellonian University for the best students. Erasmus scholarship holder at the Université Catholique de Lyon in France. She defended her doctoral dissertation at the Jagiellonian University, entitled “Mistake and deception as a defect of the declaration of will in the capital companies law”, prepared under the scientific supervision of prof. dr hab. Andrzej Szumański, obtaining a doctoral degree in social sciences in the field of legal science, with a specialisation in private economic law.
She completed her legal practice at the Regional Bar Council in Kraków and passed the bar exam. She practised as a lawyer. She then obtained the professional title of attorney-at-law. She gained professional experience in Polish and foreign law firms, as well as in the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Manchester.
